Internship
Program 2010

Internship Program Synopsis
The aim of the Internship program is to empower people for Surfing related ministry
with the objective of consistently releasing better equipped leaders back into
their communities. We foresee this as constantly improving the levels of leadership,
enhancing sustainability and enabling the healthy growth of the grass roots
mission within the context of the local community and local church.
The architecture of the course is designed around an integrated approach to learning,
where the student will be exposed to the broadest possible base of Christian
Surf ministry and empowered to better understand the fundamentals of the mission
and deliver on the praxis of surf ministry.
Your year will therefore be geared around understanding and experiencing the
various aspects of Surf Missions. We will provide exposure and skills training
in as many surfing related fields of ministry as possible.
On completion of the course you will have a greater understanding of what Surfing
Ministry is all about and a good handle on practical skills that facilitate it.
Furthermore we hope that you will also have a clearer picture of what you want
to accomplish for Gods Kingdom as an individual.

Our desired course outcomes:
• That you will have a global perspective of the Christian
Surfers Mission
• Be empowered in your ability to do surf missions on a number
of levels
• Be integrated back into and serving your home community as
they use surfing as an agent for the gospel
• Be empowered to continue working out your Christian walk
in God's Kingdom in whatever shape and form that may take.
